As avid basketball fans, Busbud, the same company that does price comparisons for bus travel, figured they would take a look at NBA tickets and see if they could discover the best value for other basketball fans.
They used data from SeatGeek to get the average ticket price for NBA teams for the past five years, and then compared that with win percentages to see which teams provided the best bang for the buck. In the infographic chart, you can see all 30 teams plotted along those two factors: ticket price vs win percentage.
The result: the San Antonio Spurs have consistently provided great value to their fans, whereas the Los Angeles Lakers have been relatively expensive, especially given their poor performance in the standings.
