The Cheltenham Festival is one of the biggest festivals in not only the UK but the whole world. The racing lasts over a four-day period and is regarded as one of the greatest events on the horse racing calendar.
The event welcomes over 60,000 people each year and brings in £100m for the economy in Gloucestershire showing that it really is a significant event. The festival started out in 1860 but has changed significantly since then seeing many changes including changes to the course.
