Bathrooms have changed a lot over the past 200 years and have come a long way (and so have our cleaning habits!). This infographic explores the evolution of bathrooms since the 18th century – from chamber pots in bedrooms all the way through to fully-functioning modern, luxury wet rooms.
Today, we take for granted the privilege of having our own bathroom; in pre-Victorian times, bathrooms would have been shared with all of your neighbors and sewage simply thrown outside! This infographic covers the changes and developments through pre-Victorian bathrooms, Victorian bathrooms and 20th century bathrooms.
