The guitar’s history and origin has been steadfastly debated for centuries but there are a few keynotes (pun intended) which we know to be true. One thing is for certain and that’s that the modern guitars we all know, love and dance to today look and sound nothing like the guitars our ancestors played and danced to.
From baroque to electric, costing anywhere from a hundred dollars to tens of thousands, there’s miles of differences between the different kinds of guitars we know today in terms of sound, quality and history. Another thing we can all agree on despite all those differences, is that there isn’t a person on earth who hasn’t a heard a song they loved played on a guitar.
