It’s a wired world and as a result not always a secure one, especially when traveling. Public Wi-Fi is a great thing but it increases your chances of a security breach or someone being able to access your personal information.
But security isn’t your only problem. If you are traveling abroad you may find that some of your favorite websites aren’t accessible outside of the United States. And what about data charges? Most carriers provide country-wide access at no extra charge unless you go over your allotted data usage, but those data charges go up significantly if traveling overseas.
