Social Life At Your University

  • 50% say living away from home was easier than expected
  • 52% join a university society or club
  • 11% end up dropping out
  • 54% find making friends easier than they thought it was going to be
  • 31% feel pressure to go out and be social and interact
  • 64% are aspiring to be medics & dentists

Freshman Spending At University

  • 20% have a part time job
  • 10% visit student services to seek help with financial aid
  • 39% realize budgeting is harder than they thought it was going to be
  • 19% go into their overdraft at their bank

Academic Life At University

  • 44% find the lectures to actually be more interesting than they thought
  • 6% miss half of their classes
  • 17% have been for help to the careers office
  • 56% find the courses better than they thought
